For those who are facing difficulties and unsure where to turn, Nine Strategies for Dealing with the Difficult Stuff, is a practical easy-to-read book on how to work oneself up and out of challenging situations. This is such a helpful guide. Stephanie is clearly a gifted writer, a poet, and teacher. She shares her own experiences and what she found helpful in these tragic times. This isn’t a theoretical self-help manual. It is a personal expression of facing and overcoming hardships and gaining a rich and rewarding life.

When one has been hit with an unimaginable event, it is hard to think clearly. Emotions tend to overwhelm us in these circumstances. It’s great the information here describe some of the barriers we face and solutions to try when navigating difficult terrain.

I highly recommend Stephanie’s book and hope it will be shared with others.
