    As someone whose family has been in stress-mode for well over two years now, I was curious if these strategies would be helpful. Now that I’ve read the book, I say all of these strategies would be helpful to anyone dealing with stress.

    The strategies are not band-aids for stress; they are ways to handle the stress a person is currently having AND to reduce detrimental responses to stress in the future. I am seeing a therapist, and she is having me work on these kinds of strategies to combat current and future stress. That is all the confirmation I need to recommend this book to anyone having a problem dealing with stress in their lives.
